ZCuSn12 is the raw material used to make tin bronze, a non-ferrous metal alloy that has the least degree of shrinkage during casting, which makes it perfect for castings with complex patterns and sharp features. 2. When cast, copper melts at a lower melting point than steel and liquefies with a rather good degree of fluidity. But doing so could easily cause the liquid metal in the mold to flow unevenly.
3. Copper during the casting process might quickly lead to oxidation problems.
These characteristics explain the low certification rate of copper precision casting.
